Challenge
AveNews needed an editorial product, public brand, bilingual reading surface, CMS, and local automation boundary that could grow without pretending to be a generic news template.
Approach
- Built on Next.js 16, React 19, Payload CMS 3, Neon Postgres, and Vercel Blob.
- Kept expensive editorial generation local while publishing self-contained public artifacts through signed import routes.
- Structured the live site around bilingual public reading, recurring reports, editorial scopes, and durable media assets.
Outcomes
- A growing sister publication with a full public web platform rather than a static launch page.
- Clear separation between private editorial automation and the public rendering surface.
